Exhibition 11 April – 31 May 2015

Previous Archibald winner and 2014 finalist Wendy Sharpe produced portraits of 39 asylum seekers and refugees as part of a collaboration with the Australian Asylum Seekers Centre in a new exhibition titled, Seeking Humanity. These portraits capture the enduring spirits of those who have survived war, famine and socio-political exclusion.

A selection from Seeking Humanity feature in our Ancher House Gallery. These portraits flank our Main Gallery show, Home/Front: – 100 year Commemoration of the Gallipoli Campaign.
