Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest is proud to present Deborah Kelly – Bodies of Work, a survey of the last 15 years of the artist’s practice.  Recognised as one of Australia’s foremost political artists, Deborah Kelly has exhibited widely in Australia and internationally, and is the recipient of numerous awards, prizes and fellowships.

Working in and around collage, portraiture and animation, the artist’s material practice involves both pillage and inversion of the western art canon, and mass-mediated tropes and images. In doing so Kelly questions and challenges global capital, public policy, religious authority, power and privilege.
