ARCHIVES 2002 - A Private View OCTOBER 6th - NOVEMBER 25th

Margo Lewers - To-dayWorks from the collection selected by Petite Dallimore.  Petite, and her husband Dal, were part of the circle of artists and friends that Margo and Gerald Lewers gathered around them at their home in Emu Plains.   Petite's long association with the family, and in subsequent years the Gallery, has given her a unique insight into the collection.
Petite's selections recall the days when the Lewers' home was a centre of creative activity and colourful debate on art and the Sydney art scene., as well as providing background on the circumstances and process of creation of many of the featured works by Margo and Gerald Lewers, Carl Plate, Frank and Margel Hinder and their contemporaries.
