Clay Capers
 
Eight Wednesdays: 8 February - 28 March
4 - 5:30pm, 10 - 14 yrs, $135 per student
All materials supplied
Students will learn how to hand build objects from clay, starting with the designing stage and going on to complete three projects; a Picasso inspired head, a coil vessel and a mini chimenea (good for toasting marshmallows). Students don’t need any previous clay experience as tutor Susan Coster will lead the group through a variety of hand building, joining and decorating techniques. Two of the three objects will be fired and underglazed.
 
 Art Box - New Tutor
 
Eight Wednesdays: 8 February - 28 March
4 - 5:30pm, 6 - 9 yrs, $125 per student

Students will work both in the exhibitions, being inspired by original artworks, and in the studio with an exciting variety of art materials and tutor Barb White. Students will be introduced to a variety of techniques and styles, learning new skills and extending and consolidating existing skills. Workshops will include drawing, collage, clay sculpture and painting. Featured exhibitions include Hello Dollies, A House for Two Artists: Works by John Nicholson & Justin Trendall and The Big Spread (Too Much, Too Little, Too Late) work by Jane Lennon.
